Help Center : Group Sharing
Group sharing is used when you want to quickly share a folder with a specific group of people. Please note, to use "Group Sharing" all members of that group must be members of Winkflash. Follow the steps below to get started:
- To start using Group Sharing you must first add some contacts to your contact list, click here for info on how to do that.
- Once you have your contact list set up, you can start sharing folders with your groups.
- From the "My Home" page click on the "Groups" button on the top of the page.
It looks like this:
- Click on the "Create Group" button on the left.
- You can now add contacts into this group, all of the contacts you add to this group will be able to see the folders you include in this group
- When you have finished, go to the "My Home" page and open the folder that you wish to share with this group.
- When the folder opens, click on the "Share this Folder" button.
It looks like this:
- Click on the "Group Sharing" checkbox and add the new group to the "Allowed groups" so that they can view this folder.
- Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page and this folder has been shared with that group.
- Now when your friends want to view your shared pics, all they have to do is log in to winkflash, and click on the "Groups" button on the left side of the page.
